Taught by Mr. Bechar, Mr. Hughes and Jeff, Cipher is a class that focuses on spoken word poetry, free styling, rapping, song writing, beat production, sound engineering, beatboxing, ragamuffin, hip hop history, entrepreneurship and live performance. Occasional field trips to a recording studio are included. The class has proven to be a safe place for participating youth to voice their unique experience in writing and verbally.
