Coyote Society is a weekly mentoring group led by Deputy Shawn Chase of the Sheriff's Department. Every week Officer Chase brings up to 12 at-risk Cunha students to the Pilarcitos campus. Pilarcitos and Cunha students engage in a structured dialog facilitated by Officer Chase. The goal is for Pilarcitos students to discuss life issues and help steer their younger peers into making good decisions. Pilarcitos students are empowered by the experience and become good role models for the younger students.
